Web Industries Promotes Kathrin Doyle Arena

Web Industries Inc., a global provider of contract conversion and turnkey manufacturing services to the medical, aerospace, personal and home care, and industrial sectors, has promoted Kathrin Doyle Arena to Vice President of Human Resources . In his new role, Arena will focus on fostering the company’s employee-owner culture, helping to sustain and grow the company in the United States and around the world.

Arena joined Web Industries in 2016 as the company’s Director of Human Resources and was promoted a year later to Senior Director of Human Resources. His first mission within the company was to develop and execute a multi-year strategy to refine and evolve the HR organization. As an employee-owned company (ESOP), Web Industries places great importance on the development, satisfaction and retention of its workforce.

Announcing the promotion, Web Industries CEO Mark Pihl highlighted Arena’s many successes: “In Kathy’s six years at Web Industries, she and her team have made great strides in building an infrastructure Global HR capable of following our growth. She oversaw the implementation of a modern HR information system, fostered the professional and executive development of our employee-owners, and helped implement a new compensation management system.

Arena and its team have worked diligently to protect the health and well-being of employees, while striving to keep facilities open. During this same period, Web Industries has been instrumental in helping a major manufacturer of COVID-19 tests produce millions of kits in record time.

Arena notes that scaling the HR organization and keeping employees happy, healthy and successful are core parts of her job. “I look forward to continuing to serve the needs of our global family of employee-owners as our business evolves into the future,” she said. “We plan to attract, develop and retain the best people possible at Web Industries.”
