Amid the ongoing construction activity of Jewar Airport, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has drawn up a plan to set up three transport Nagars that will help promote industries from the town of Yamuna.
When completed, the airport will become the fourth largest in the world and the second in Asia. Its total area will be 62,001 hectares. Large companies and industrialists from all over the world are showing their interest in investing here, which increases the price of land.
The YEIDA wants all the essential facilities to be done in and around the airport and that is the reason why the authority has decided to set up three Transport Nagars near the airport.
The largest of these (Transport Nagar) will arrive in Sector 23. The second will be located near the proposed Film City, while the third Transport Nagar will be at the Industrial Sector of Sector 33.
